BONKERS! The performances were beautifully bonkers, the music was bonkers in all the right ways, and the monologues were insanely bonkers. I don't think I've ever called a film bonkers before until I witnessed Inherent Vice.

The Split Man: An Analysis on The Master
When you’re a director such as Paul Thomas Anderson, you have a track record that is so good that any of your films can be considered the greatest. While Punch-Drunk Love is my favorite Paul Thomas Anderson film for the connection it has to my real life, the film I think is his best is 2012's … Continue reading The Split Man: An Analysis on The Master
The Deconstruction of Terence Malick in Knight of Cups
The enigma that is Terence Malick has been discussed with film fans ever since his feature debut, Badlands. The man is a recluse as he avoids interviews, never likes having pictures taken of him, and rarely ever makes public appearances. Many thought we'd never get to see who the man actually was like. Why You Need To See The Big Short
The Big Short is not The Wolf of Wall Street ripoff you feared it would be. To take on a film about how wall street, the banks, and our obliviousness is something that's far from the light hearted endeavor you'd expect from the director of Step Brothers. Few films come out a year that actually … Continue reading Why You Need To See The Big Short
Why The Force Awakens is the film we deserved (Spoiler-Free)
This wouldn't be a fair article if I didn't get something off my chest first... I really liked The Force Awakens, but I didn't love it. There I said it. I wasn't in the aisles crying my eyes out and I wasn't swooned with nostalgia. However, I'am still a fan boy and it did … Continue reading Why The Force Awakens is the film we deserved (Spoiler-Free)
Life at 24fps’ Biggest Surprises of the Year Part 1
We love a good surprise. Each year we watch many new films and love it when one succeeds our expectations. However, there are the few that slip up and make us frustrated for even caring about the final product.
